Scottish English Bordlerands: August 17-27, 2026

We’re taking a small group of fans on a tour of Scotland and we hope you will join us.

We will be led by locals to some well known sites, but also to the hidden gems off the beaten path. From Stirling south, west along the border, and crossing into England’s lake district we will explore history, legend, and of course music On this 11 day tour we’ll explore the unrivaled, relaxed beauty of the Borders. Beginning in Stirling, follow in the footsteps of Scotland’s two great legendary warriors: William Wallace and Robert The Bruce. We then travel south to explore the sights and lands that these two men fought for.

Leaving Stirling we’ll first head for Rosslyn Chapel where you can hear the tales of the Knights Templar before settling down in Peebles for a three night stay. From Peebles we’ll explore along the River Tweed. We’ll cross the border into the Lake District, and visit Hardrian’s Wall,

Of course there will be music. Local musicians will join us many evenings and Friction Farm will play two concerts.
